Kelly Slater has been busier than ever since leaving Quiksilver. The man is a brand of his own, which has led to endorsing everything from healthy foods to collaborating with PBteen to make an eco-friendly line of furniture. Last year he announced he’d be treading into the fashion world with his own clothing line, Outerknown. For the most part, details of the line have remained under wraps until Kelly decided to blast an announcement out to his social media fans:
Even the Outerknown Instagram account has shared very little about the clothing line itself, but Stab released a first look at Kelly’s first wave of crews, flannels, hoodies and more. What we do know is that the collection is designed alongside John Moore, GQ Magazine’s 2015 Best Men’s Designer. So now that his first clothing line is upon us -as is the case with most things endorsed by the best surfer in the world – if he builds it, likes it, surfs it or wears it we will buy.
