Usually this is a site you would see only in a Precious Moments illustration or a Hallmark card. It’s a moment that would make even the toughest of men turn into a bunch of softies. Those lovable Labradors will snuggle just about anyone. Seals, on the other hand, should be approached with a lot more vigilance. The one pictured here seems cute and cuddly, but these creatures can be aggressive and territorial. If you see these animals in the wild, your best bet is to keep your distance – especially during mating season, as these particular seals can grow up to 8 feet long and weigh in at an astonishing 850 lbs.
