Scuba divers in the Bat Islands of Costa Rica had quite a surprise when this Manta Ray swam over to them, all tangled in a mess of fishing line. Thomaz Monteiro and Flavia Passaglia were in the water when the giant marine animal nudged the group for a little assistance with the matter. Brian Thompson, also in the group, then applied a steady hand and trusty knife to free this gentle giant.
