Remember Cesar Millan, the feisty Latino “Dog Whisperer” on Television? Yeah, well this woman puts him to shame. Cristina Zenato is at the forefront when it comes to diving with unpredictable, wild sharks. Not only is she incredibly comfortable while surrounded by the predators of the deep, but she’s adopted a way of hypnotizing them. She’s the closest thing out there to a “Shark Whisperer” as she casts a soothing spell over the animals through touch. The above video demonstrates just how adept her method is; she’s able to put a shark twice the size as her in a trance and move its limp body around. It’s almost like they have an unspoken dialogue expressed through touch. Perhaps we could use these skills for the greater good – Zenato could could be key in negotiating a peace treaty between humans and sharks, ending the war for good!
