If you’re in Southern California right now, or heck, even Northern California, you are feeling the heat. It’s been mid-80’s for days, even at the beach, and the heat wave is supposed to continue through the first half of the week. Beach lovers are rejoicing. However, when the heat turns up, the last thing you want to do is turn on the oven or stove top. Instead, plug in the blender, and throw together this impossibly simple Mermaid Coconut bowl from Lina Saber. The color is stunning, the results are tasty, and it’s good for you. Plus, it will cool you down after a day in the sun.

CREAMY MERMAID COCONUT BOWL ??????? with a scoop of homemade blue-algae coconut ice cream. The base was blended fro nanas with pinches of blue-algae powder and wheatgrass powder (which you can’t even taste btw!). I finished it off with coconut shreds, dehydrated kiwifruit chips, cashew based rawnola, and dragon fruit balls. Too delicious! ✘ #radplantlife
