Candide Thovex is one of the best skiers on the planet. His technical skill is a big part of that, but more so is his creativity. Thovex sees lines where others don’t, and once he sees a line, he’s bound to do something mind-blowing on it.
Take, for example, his latest edit from Tignes, France. He calls it a “mellow day,” and when you consider some of his other days, it is mellow — for him. Not mellow for anyone else, but hey, Candide is going to do what Candide does. And what he does is throw himself off anything that presents itself, go far faster than he should be comfortable going, and generally stun anyone who happens to look up in the air and see him doing whatever he’s doing up there.
