Check Out This Netting 400 Feet Above a Canyon in Utah Where BASE Jumpers Go Off

That’s one way to do it.

How would this be for a Thanksgiving tradition? Now that we’re in November we can look forward to the Holidays. Slackliner, BASE jumper and climber, “Sketchy” Andy Lewis, sets up this netting between canyon walls in Utah, 400 feet above the deck, every Thanksgiving. You have to traverse in a safety gear to get out o what’s known as, “The Spacenet.” Sketchy uses four slacklines to suspend the netting. It’s part of the annual Turkey Boogie BASE and highlining event. Sketchy is the first jumper to exit the netting with a fly gainer. A few of the other jumpers look, well, sketchy.
