Fun on the water can be had in the most random of places. Especially following big winters. Colorado river surfers – who already enjoy the fruits of the Glenwood wave during high water – know that when the state’s biggest drainage reaches 20,000 cubic feet per second, Big Sur comes into play. This western Colorado wave has long been surfed by kayakers but in the last decade, river surfers have swarmed to the feature.
