Deer Stuck Together by their Antlers are Freed After Game Warden Fires One Crazy-Accurate Shot

According to the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, deer getting stuck together like this happens more than you might think. So Lynn Koch, a game warden for the department, tried something outside the box. He used his service weapon to shoot the animals’ antlers, freeing them from being locked together. The Department of Wildlife and Parks here’s of animals locking horns several times a year and have come across scenes where one animal is left alive, while the other is actually being chewed on by a predator such as a coyote. Koch got to within 20 feet of the animals before he pulled the trigger, an extremely tough shot with a hand-held firearm.
