Don “Nuge” Nguyen Bombs Ridiculously Steep Baxter Hill In Los Angeles on His Skateboard

Other than a slight case of the wobbles, he sticks it.

What? With little margin for error, Oklahoma City native-come-L.A.-loc Don “Nuge” Nguyen recently teamed up with the boys at Thrasher to bomb L.A.’s Baxter Hill, a super sketchy, cracked out street that runs perpendicular to the Glendale Freeway a mile or so east of Santa Monica Boulevard.

Sounds like someone challenged the Nuge’s manhood. So the pro skater, and nearly-pro bass player, stepped up to the plate and stomped it. Watch as he negotiates a thin line and muscles his way through the sketchiest, middle section where his board starts to get the wobbles. Nice one Nuge. “Some little-ass girl in the backseat of a car yells at me ‘you’re gonna die,'” he said. Thankfully, that didn’t even come close to happening.
