The country has been pretty mesmerized by the story of Mickey Wilson, a professional slackliner who saved a man who was hanging from his backpack on a chairlift, choking to death. Funny what captures our imaginations. But Wilson walked a cold tightrope of a lift cable at Colorado’s Arapahoe Basin and played the hero. Both he and Richard (who didn’t want to do the interview) come off as totally humble. Pretty cool mainstream interview about a story that certainly entered the mainstream consciousness.
