Skis and waves have an interesting history. Many athletes have tried to mix two sticks and the bumps of the sea to varying degrees of success. Chuck Patterson pretty much went straight at Jaws. Cody Townsend and Mike Douglas threw fly-away airs in Maui. And then Candide did this, taking advantage of the Basque Country’s Wavegarden and Wales’ Snowdonia to get freaky. As part of his Ski the World campaign with Audi, Candide has released all sorts of behind the scenes videos. This is a little insight into his trickery.
