Here’s What it Looks Like When a Flash Flood Hits the Trail You’re Hiking in Zion National Park

It’s scary. But this group remained calm.

When the FLASH FLOOD hit. With the family at Zion National Park. In the narrows. My brothers my nephew and I while helping others cross the river. People were panicking but it was a fun adventure and others started helping. Good vibes great experience for all of us @yasirfinkenthal @jaredfinkenthal @victorsvillar @ixchelmybelle @eunicefinkenthal @paigefinkenthal #flashflood #thenarrows #zionnationalpark #adventure #crecida

Things can go wrong fast in the desert. This is what happens when a flash flood caused by summer thunderstorms fills up the canyons that weave through the beautiful desert wonderland that is Utah’s Zion National Park. Thankfully, there wasn’t more water pouring through the drainage or things could have ended up a lot differently. That’s why the shooter of this video thought of it as more of an adventure than an emergency. But things definitely could have gone the other way.
