Iouri Podlatchikov’s Wreck in the X Games Halfpipe Is So Freakin’ Scary

Iouri Podlatchikov is a gamer. The Russian-born snowboarder who rides for Switzerland and won gold at the 2014 Olympics had a gnarly wreck this weekend at the X Games and was knocked out cold. The ski patrol had to come and cart Podlatchikov (I-Pod) out of the pipe. Fortunately, he suffered only a broken nose. I-Pod won in Europe last week after coming back from an ACL tear he suffered last year. Hopefully, this is just a hiccup in his recovery.
