Last Call to First Chair: What it Looks Like to Prep for a Day at Jackson Hole

From the last chair of the day to the first chair of the next, Jackson Hole Resort crews work tirelessly to prepare the ultimate ski and snowboard experience.

When your day of shredding at the resort ends, the day’s work is just getting started for a large portion of the Jackson Hole crew – or at any mountain you find yourself riding. From prepping rentals and repairing machinery to dynamiting avy-prone slopes, clearing snow off picnic tables and making coffee, in between last chair and first chair the following day, there’s plenty of action going on behind the scenes to create the snow experience we know and love. Next time you’re on the slopes, don’t forget to say thanks and show these heroes some gratitude.
