The winter of 2014-15 was nothing like this one: full of endless El Nino love. And as we prepare to say goodbye to that beautiful weather pattern, we take a look back. At one of the gnarliest tomahawk reels ever. Props to Teton Gravity Research for years of good flicks, and this, a tribute to some seriously gnarly beat downs while filming this fall’s Paradise Waits. The funny thing is, these aren’t just beatdowns. They’re full on ass-kickers as some of the best freeskiers in the world roll ass over tea kettle down the side of insanely steep peaks. Angel Collinson, Ian McIntosh and other hardened athletes throw down. And get throttled. Hope you didn’t take one of these this winter. But on the bright side, if you did, chances are the terrain you were on was a little more padded out thanks to Mother Nature’s blessing.
