High up in the Sierra Nevada mountains, there’s a very brief window when the lakes and ponds home to golden trout thaw and it’s possible to fish and ride Sierra summer corn all in the same day.
That short period is the time of year Jimmy Goodman most looks forward to and annually he assembles a team, nicknamed the Golden Boys, to explore those wild places, casting and carving strictly for the love.
The above is an ode to the pristine wild spaces of the High Sierra.
