Sometimes, When You Live in the Mountains, Bears Get Stuck in Your Car and Destroy Them

Bears are smart. Especially when the smell of food wafts through the animal’s nostrils. Which pretty much makes them unstoppable. This bear somehow made its way into a Subaru station wagon in Golden, Colorado yesterday and absolutely tore the thing to shreds. The officers gingerly try to release the bear but it still has it’s way with the car. Authorities are still trying to figure out how the bear made it into the vehicle but it’s probably a safe bet that if there was even a piece of an old sandwich lying on the floor, the bear figured out how to lift the latch. Then the door closed as it slid in after the morsel. These guys might need to contact their upholsterer?
