Running waterfalls in a kayak is perhaps the pinnacle of the sport. Nothing compares to stomping a clean line off a 30-footer and feeling that free….fall – control up to the lip, control in the air, and a stylish landing. Well, this recent video on YouTube shows a couple of skilled paddlers stomping lines off Kentucky’s Cumberland Falls, a two-tiered drop near the Tennessee border. The line is impressive, but the commentary from tourists who have obviously never seen whitewater kayaking is all time. The guy holding the iPhone camera is funny enough but this line pretty much says it all: “You know how big your things have gotta be to do that.” Nice.
