Kye Petersen was named skier of the year by Freeskier magazine during the awards show season in late 2017. His film, Numinous, was also honored by Powder. But those awards didn’t come without sacrifice. In fact, they took a whole lot of sacrificing the body (by Kye and friends) to get the incredible footage that defined this flick. Dendrite Studios recently released this crash edit from the film that’s certainly cringe-worthy. The editorial process and a film’s final product can mask the dedication it takes to create a movie worth watching, ACL’s be damned.
