Telemark skiing is dead, some say. I say it’s just sleeping, waiting for the next retro-lution when skiers across the world say “Hey, you know the way they used to do things? That’s pretty rad, man.” Just like fishes, logs, and mid-lengths have taken surfing by storm in recent years, maybe, just maybe, telemark skiing will have its day again, too. Until then, I think we all can admire the skill and steeze of Mikaël ‘Mika’ Garcin, proving that at least in France, telemark is alive and well.
