Let’s face it, to be a Russian skater, in the Russian winter, you have to be hard AF. There’s no way around it. The freezing temps are one thing, but then you have the cold hands that hurt even more when you try a grab, or basically try to move them at all. The ground is colder and therefore feels more solid than normal. Motivation, and where you find it, is huge. Gosha Konyshev is definitely motivated (and it doesn’t look like he needs to grab). He’s summoned motivation from somewhere, and despite the freezing Russian winter, the same freezing Russian winter that has long spurned invaders of the “Mother Country,” Gosha is killing the game.
This Is Russian Skateboarder Gosha Konyshev Absolutely Crushing the Moscow Winter
This hurts just watching.
