Nice name. Strangely enough, VW’s newest Van, the California (T6), apparently won’t be sold in the States. Still, it’s nice to dream. Check out how VW has taken the classic VW lines and modernized and improved the classic look. New materials and modern features make this thing pretty rad for the traveling surfer, snowboarder or family. Basic versions are around $51,000 and souped-up iterations run for $81,000. Add in import costs and you’re around $100,000. Not cheap. Which leads to our only real qualm? Using the name California to sell cars without actually selling said car in its namesake state.
