This is What Falling 1,600 Feet over a Crevasse in Alaska Looks Like

For the record, Ian McIntosh is a really good skier. But on this day in Alaska, he rushed things, trying to catch a bit of light on a line he’d been scoping for some time. And that’s when things went really wrong and he fell 1,600 feet, his body skipping over a crevasse in the steep Alaskan Wilderness. Ian McIntosh recently defended his line in a Pro Rider’s Workshop hosted by Teton Gravity Research. Pretty awesome piece of video.
