Editor’s Note: Chris Burkard has become a household name in the world of adventure photography. Brands are clamoring for his work. Athletes want to travel with him. And many an aspiring photog yearns to learn from the 30-year-old California native. Despite the accolades, the artist remains hungry. And focused (maybe obsessed) with the places he travels and the people he travels with. But above all, he’s humble and thankful. He recently sat down to talk about what it took for him to get where he is.
