Warm Your Cold Heart With This Video of Quadriplegic Tony Schmiesing Charging X Games Superpipe

The world doesn’t have to be a cynical place.

The world can be a cruel, lonely place. But it doesn’t have to be. The High Fives Foundation released video this week of quadriplegic skier Tony Schmiesing charging the 22-foot X Games halfpipe with the help of friend Brian Sheckler. And it definitely warms the heart. Even though it looks pretty cold.

The High Fives Foundation is a group that helps athletes continue to live their lives, and charge, even after suffering life altering injuries that may leave them paralyzed.
