It isn’t a new sport, but it seems to be gaining popularity lately: young men finding high cliffs, roofs or other objects to jump off of into water, be it pool, pond or ocean. And one of the best places to practice the art is in Hawaii. Check out these guys, Chase Reinford, Jake Berthelot who post their videos under the youtube handle “Adrenaline Addiction.” Cheesy? Yes, but just about right in describing their antics where their main mission is to scare themselves. Click forward to 8:40. The duo finds a cave and a 40-footer where they have to gap a ledge below the cave mouth to hit the water. Dude nearly tears his face off on lava rock. Warning: his reaction is profanity-laden.
