Anson Fogel and Camp4 Collective recently finished this fantastic short in partnership with GoPro about Ian Flanders and Matt Blank, longtime BASE jumping and climbing partners who chased the art of flight around the world. It’s tough for many of us laymen to understand why people involved in BASE sports are willing to take so much risk. But at least part of it has to be the appreciation for life after such intense moments coming off the mountain and opening a chute. The time spent with really close friends. The love for those friends and partners. And when something goes wrong, that intensity can make it extremely tough to cope. This is a beautiful story about how one man deals with loss and celebrates life. Bravo Anson.
