Yes, this actually happened. All-around freeride shredder Davis Souza was mountain biking Mills Peak trail this week near the small outpost of Graeagle, Calif. north of Lake Tahoe when, what looks like a brown bear, jumps out of the forest and literally knocks him on his keister. As you can tell from Souza’s language, it didn’t feel all that good. “(It) came out of nowhere and was gone before I could ask if it was alright or anything,” he joked on his Instagram page. Definitely got a few likes on that post.
