Architectural photography is such a different animal than any other kind of photography. Great images rely on great lighting and inspired composition and, as a photographer, you need to be in complete control. Photoshop and digital have made it a lot easier, but when I first started doing architectural photography, it was still large format and 40-50 lights a shot so you learned finesse and patience. Photography is not always about the actual image. Often, it’s about the moment leading up or the journey to arrive at the image. These 15 images are key stops in my journey of photography over the last 20 years. I have loved every bit of it, and I can’t wait to see what the next 20 years brings.
