I’ve been working with this kid, Aprad Leclere, and he’s blowing me mind. He just turned 16 and is pretty nuts in barrels.
“Been a crazy run of surf over the last year,” he says. “Whether it’s Sumbawa, Deserts, the Mentawais, or G-land, it seems like everywhere has been good. The highlight was scoring a wave we’ve never surfed before in Sumatra. Nothing’s better than scoring perfect lefthand barrels with just three friends.”
