April in Nicaragua is always loaded with fun waves. The surf is very consistent and you’re virtually guaranteed offshore winds. Playa Santana turns on for a few hours at high tide delivering a wedge that bounces off the rock point. The locals have it wired as do many expats, with plenty of waves still left for travelers.
