Living in the Netherlands meant growing up with plenty of water and wind. But because of extremely short swell fetch and awful conditions in the North Sea, you must be knowledgable and prophetic about the various elements in order to surf here. However, with a bit of wise and careful planning I’m able to get some great shots. I also spend much of the year traveling to various places where photo opportunities are a bit less constraining. The images featured in this series are taken from all around the world, including the Netherlands, New Zealand, Morocco, Portugal,California, and Brazil.
