This past Saturday on the north shore of Maui we had an incredible day of competition at the 25th Annual Ho’okipa Surf Classic in memory of Justin Roberson. Light winds, beautiful weather, and plenty of swell on tap kept competitors busy and the crowd entertained. From the Squib Division to the Men’s Open there was no shortage of high action and high scores. Although our beloved competitors were putting it all on the line, it was Imaikalani Devault who took first place in a stacked Final against Kai Grissom, Ian Gentil, Nalu Wallace, Makana Eleogram, and Kain Daly. The other victors in other divisions included “Baby Steve” Roberson, who placed first in two divisions, Ty Simpson-Kane won his age division, and Logan Bediamol who won the Juniors Title.
