By now, everyone is aware of the epic swell that ran into Puerto Escondido a few weeks ago. Insane footage emerged of some ridiculous things happening in Mexico: Brad Domke’s finless slide into the biggest wave ever on a skimboard, Billy Kemper’s near-destruction, Ricardo dos Santos pushing the eject button off the edge of a watery cliff, and some of the greatest aerial footage we’ve ever seen.
And then there are the photos. Moments captured in time that show just how critical things get at the Mexican Pipeline. The ones above are taken by Camila Neves, a surf photographer from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
