7 Minutes of Code Red 2 at Teahupo’o

Code Red 2 has become a buzzword this week. That’s mostly because a giant swell coming out of the south slammed in to Tahiti, Hawaii, and even California. The summer surf has been, well, epic to say the least. And nowhere got swell like this famous spot at the end of the road: Teahupo’o. Here are seven minutes of footage from the wave that scares most humans at this size, courtesy of Boris Martinet. The wave is mostly the star in this video.
