Puerto Escondido is well known for its massive barrels. Everyone who has surfed Zicatela knows just how powerful, fast and unique it is. So every summer surfers from all over the world come to try their luck in this beauty. Some of them get the ride of their life, others leave defeated and some have even lost their lives trying to conquer it.
If you are a tube rider or aspire to become one, a summer in Zicatela is non negotiable. But there are few lucky ones who get to surf this wave all year long. They make their name here. They are the locals of Mexpipe, Puerto Escondido.

I wish I could talk about all of them, but this time I just chose seven that especially killed it this summer. Well technically summer isn’t quite over, so odds are all these chargers are out there sending it right now.
