birds
This was such a random shot for me. I was actually looking through my 600 to see who that guy in the shot was when all of sudden this huge flock of birds flew by the screen. I guess luck was on my side for that moment in time. The shot gives such an essence to how it feels sitting in the lineup waiting for waves. Photo: Patrick Eichstaedt
I cut my teeth in the surf game years ago by sitting on the beach for hours video taping a young Andy Irons and Cory Lopez charge Log Cabins. You may have also seen me on the wrong side of the camera in “The Decline” and “5’5″ Redux.”
I was born in Miami, Florida, in 1974 and moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1976. I began working with …Lost and through opportunities there, I have imagery published all over the globe. Family, health and friends are most important to me, and my school was traveling and listening to others–The School of Trial and Error.
