A Short, Retro Film About Surfing a Not-So-Retro Spot: Montreal

It’s hard to nail down exactly what’s going on here in this short look at surfing the Saint Lawrence River, the gem of Montreal wave riding. Habitat 67, that glassy piece of goodness you see in short stints (above) is the centerpiece. Perhaps this quick snapshot from Qui Surf is an artful way of saying, “we wish this place was warmer.” You make the call. Regardless, the surfing from William Pichet and Simon Camire is on point.
