If you hadn’t heard, a significant south swell finally blessed Southern California. And, in case you didn’t know, south swells mean that Newport Beach, California’s favorite mutant wave lights up for all to see. Right on the beach. Yes the Wedge was in, with plenty of opening day highlights. And lowlights, if you’re into wipeouts.
