Asher Pacey Surfing Insanely Mechanical Little Marley Point

Asher Pacey surfing Little Marley in QLD, Australia is a lesson in style and an example of just how good a wave can be.

If you were a wave that broke in front on Snapper’s rocky outcropping, you would run down the beach towards Rainbow Bay. Along the way, though, you’d pass Little Marley Point. It’s another rocky outcropping, although not as big as the first one, and that particular part of Snapper Rocks can get really, really good.

Of course, it helps to see just how good a wave can get when a really, really good surfer is on it. A surfer like, say, Asher Pacey. Do waves get any more mechanical than this? Well, maybe literally in a wave pool, but in nature? We think not.
