Bodyboarder Ben Player suffered a severe injury in the way of a ruptured spleen during a session at Riley’s in Ireland. He endured the accident while bodysurfing the legendary left. Fortunately, he was with surfer and fellow Australian Jamie Mitchell, who promptly called the Irish Coast Guard. When the authorities arrived, they worried of internal bleeding, so prepared him to be airlifted to the nearest hospital.,
