It’s quite possible that Ben Gravy is the world’s finest novelty wave surfer. Oh, there are rivals like Dylan Graves or Mason Ho. But they just don’t have the consistency that Mr. Gravy has. They don’t have the persistence to find the most random spots on Earth that can actually keep a surfboard planing on the surface of the water. For that, we give our nod to New Jersey’s favorite son. Ben recently surfed Ohio’s best point break. He’s so dialed in that he was given the tip by a random Great Lakes surfer, and jumped at the opportunity despite just returning home from Europe. And he kinda scored.
