You’re probably aware by now that surfers in Bali have been riding high on the shiniest of silver linings. Lineups are nearly empty thanks to the Coronavirus, and places like Uluwatu have seen a run of swell better than any in recent memory. It’s dying a bit now, but the waves, while not as big, are still obscenely perfect. Disgustingly so. Maddeningly good. They’re the waves you drew in your notebook; the waves you have dreams about. Take Bingin on Monday, for example. Doesn’t that look just like the perfect wave?
