Brad Domke Tows Into Teahupoo Bomb on a Skimboard

Uh oh…he’s at it again. Professional skimboarder and certified crazy person Brad Domke has been in Teahupoo the past few days with the world’s best big wave surfers for a monster swell. And per usual, Domke hopped on his finless skimboard and threw his massive huevos over a deadly ledge. After letting go of the rope, he crouches low, grabs his outside rail with his front hand for balance and then gets spit out into glory. The wave locked Domke in for a Ride of the Year entry with the WSL Big Wave Awards. As a skimboarder, Domke is all alone in the world of finless big wave riding. But with insane exploits in Puerto and Cyclops, he’s been turning heads. Could he be the first skimboarder to win the coveted Ride of the Year award?
