This was my first swim in two months. I was out with some injuries. For some reason I had a flash itch. So Nolan and I decided to get it done. it felt really good to get wet and get a couple fun images from the session. Shooting flash in the water is not easy. Nolan Rapoza making it look good.

Being a California native, I’m of the opinion that it’s important to explore my own backyard. Whether it’s a day trip to San Diego, a quick flight up north or road tripping and camping in Central California, I’m game. I’m finding more and more right here in my backyard every time. Sometimes things are right in front of our faces, but if we’re not looking, we might not notice. Here’s a few things I’ve documented over the last year or so while exploring my beautiful home state of California.
