You know when you paddle into a wave and fly down the line, trying to get enough speed to hopefully clear that closeout section? Then you know that feeling when you realize you’re not going to make it, so you have to either straighten out or punch through the back? Times that feeling by about a million, and you’ll have what Carlos Burle went through a few days ago.
