As day two broke over day two of the Billabong Pipe Masters, it was clear that things were going to happen. Big things. Huge things. Second reef feathered in the distance; Pipeline puking out vast amounts of spit as it tripped over its notoriously shallow reef. Everything felt nervous and excited – the sand vibrated with anticipation. And as per the usual, Pipeline did not disappoint. Need proof? See above.
