Teahupoʻo. Just the name strikes fear into most surfers. The big, bending wave. The massive drop. The apartment-sized barrel. The jagged reef on the inside. When it’s big, there is no scarier place in the surfing world. The footage coming out of Tahiti after last week’s swell has been fire. And this is one of the most unique drone angles we’ve seen from Maiko Mou. He captured quick images of Nathan Florence, Justine Dupont, Matahi Drollet and others charging this massive swell, looking right down on that iconic barrel.
