Corey Colapinto Surfing in Baja on a Pair of Twinnie Mid-Lengths Is Aloe For the Eyes

When a mid-length surfboard is ridden by someone like Corey Colapinto, all the haters must want to sew their mouths shut. Here he is in Baja.

Mid-lengths get a lot of hate from people who, for one reason or another, are concerned with what someone else is riding. But for those who enjoy might enjoy a little more foam under their feet, mid-lengths can offer a whole host of benefits. They lend themselves to a little more cruisy style of wave riding, paddle far better than the average shortboard, and when they’re ridden by someone like Corey Colapinto, they look pretty damn good.

Above, Colapinto can be seen riding a 6’8 and 8’6 twin fin mid-length by Kookapinto Shapes in Baja California. Little waves? No problem.
